Garden of Ink and Ancient Stone, Ink of the Fae 1, is finished and with my editor!
I seriously can't believe I am writing that. This was the book that kicked my butt.
Maybe it's like labour and I've forgotten how each book process is hard until it's done. Or maybe with each subsequent one, my expectations about what I want to achieve get higher. Or maybe this one was just a beast. Am I a fool for already wanting to do it all over again?
Anyway, Garden of Ink and Ancient Stone is complete and I am so very proud of it. It takes me until I hear from my beta readers to feel this way as I never know if the book has worked until someone else experiences it. Now Deb & Sherry have returned their comments, I can breathe easy.
I am so excited for you to read it!
Here's some facts you might not know:
🌙 Garden of Ink and Ancient Stone is my first romantasy
✨ There is one main POV character (Ysadora) but sometimes there is a POV from the hero (Zephyr) and Ysa's dad (Kazimir)
🌙 It's longer than you've come to expect from me at 123k words, which is pretty standard for romantasy
✨ The chapters are mostly short but the world-building is deep (this book even has quotes at the start of chapters that are snippets from books and diaries that exist only in the Ink of the Fae world)
🌙 If you are a fan of wild worlds, deadly secrets, strong heroines and the swoon-worthy heroes who love them, this book is for you.
